You can find us at The Green Room

The Green Room is full of some of best beauty guru’s around. These ladies know their stuff, may it be waxing, professional make-up or massage. They are all super talented, beautiful and SO easy to like. I hope you remember to support small business this Christmas season and stop by for your gifting needs. Gift certificates telling someone you love to enjoy a little pampering are always a good idea but they also have lots of other wonderful goodies (including the Julie Hewett make-up line, which I happen to love) and now you can find your Sylvie James products there too. I’m super happy to have our products in this awesome beauty bar. You can book appointments online, too! I had a massage there today, it was amazing!

All Natural Flea Spray for your pets

We have had some warm days here in the bay, and warmer weather means fleas for any of you pet owners. Fleas are gross, and not something you want in your home or on your children. I’ve been using this all natural, chemical free flea spray on Bandini and have been very pleased with the results. I wanted to share so all of you with furry buddies can try it. I have a hard time with products like Frontline and Advantage. Yes, you see the results, but those are some major chemicals that sink into your pets skin and body and have been linked to cancer in some animals. This spray is super easy and harm free for everyone.

Heres what you need-
4 lemons
salt
water

Citrus is a natural flea deterrent and also conditions your pet’s skin. To make this spray combine 4 sliced lemons, 1 tablespoons of salt, and 6 cups of water in a pot. Bring to a boil for two minutes, then turn off and let steep 24 hours. Let cool and add to a spray bottle.
I spray Bandini about twice a day with this, sometimes only once depending on how much he’s been outside. This can also be used as a wash if your pet needs a flea bath.
